אֲדֹנָי שְׂפָתַי תִּפְתָּח וּפִי יַגִּיד תְּהִלָּתֶךָ:

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵינוּ. אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם. אֱלֹהֵי יִצְחָק. וֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב. הָאֵל הַגָּדוֹל הַגִּבּוֹר וְהַנּוֹרָא אֵל עֶלְיוֹן. גּוֹמֵל חֲסָדִים טוֹבִים. קוֹנֵה הַכֹּל. וְזוֹכֵר חַסְדֵי אָבוֹת. וּמֵבִיא גוֹאֵל לִבְנֵי בְנֵיהֶם לְמַעַן שְׁמוֹ בְּאַהֲבָה: מֶלֶךְ עוֹזֵר וּמוֹשִׁיעַ וּמָגֵן:

מִסּוֹד חֲכָמִים וּנְבוֹנִים. וּמִלֶּמֶד דַּעַת מְבִינִים. אֶפְתְּחָה פִּי בְּשִׁיר וּרְנָנִים. לְהוֹדוֹת וּלְהַלֵּל פְּנֵי שׁוֹכֵן מְעוֹנִים:According to the institution of Scholars and Sages, and the teaching of learned preceptors, I open my lips with songs and hymns, to give thanks and to praise Him who dwells in the heavenly heights.
